Abstract
The rate of plasma expansion in the direction perpendicular to the magnetic field lines was determined and the turbulent plasma diffusion coefficient was calculated using data obtained by methods of X-ray diagnostics. A correlation between the plasma diffusion coefficient and the amplitude of the RF oscillations in the system was established. This correlation leads to an increase in the electron temperature and the expansion of plasma in the radial direction. The transfer processes in the plasma are markedly influenced by the magnetic field: for example, the relationship \(D_\tau \sim \frac{1}{{B^2 }}\) was observed in the range of magnetic field strengths B<2 kG.
