Abstract
The Ginzburg-Landau theory is used to calculate perturbatively the influence of stochastic inhomogeneities on the smearing of the specific heat jump in three-dimensional superconductors. The small-scale and large-scale (compared to the correlation length) inhomogeneities are simultaneously taken into account to derive a finite and continuous (in the vicinity of T c ) expression for the temperature dependence of the superconductor specific heat.
