Criteria for the existence of generalized surface spin waves

Abstract

A criterion for the existence of generalized surface spin waves is proposed on the basis of an analysis of the dipole-exchange surface spin dynamics of a tangentially magnetized, semibounded, easy-axis antiferromagnet.
