Relation between the plasticity index and the pseudopotential of covalent tetrahedral crystals

Abstract

On the basis of experimental results of measurements of the plasticity index of covalent crystals including Si, Ge, and III–V compounds, it is established that the low-temperature plasticity characteristics of tetrahedral crystals are related to the pseudopotential.
