Abstract
Three-dimensional steady-state vortex structures which undergo self-organization during flow around a deep spherical crater on a plane are analyzed by using a factorized finite-volume method to solve the Navier-Stokes equations in a simplified approach based on an analytic definition of metric coefficients.
