Physicochemical mechanism for rearrangement of the shock wave structure in a decaying discharge plasma

Abstract

A physicochemical mechanism of wave rearrangement in a decaying glow discharge plasma is studied. A mechanism for stratification of the plasma flow via excitation and emission from a pseudometastable oxygen state is confirmed.
