Acoustic hysteresis phenomena due to the dislocation nonlinearity in crystals

Abstract

It is shown that intense ultrasound gives rise to the experimentally observed nonlocality of the acoustodislocation interaction, manifested as a hysteretetic dependence of the damping coefficient of an acoustic wave on the wave amplitude, including a decrease in damping.
