Abstract
The problem of optical tomography of scattering media is solved on the basis of an exact solution of the equations of the two-flux radiation-transfer model for a bounded medium. It is shown that after preliminary processing of the measurements the problem reduces to an inverse Radon transform, provided that the absorption and scattering coefficients are assumed to be proportional to the density of absorbing and scattering centers.
