Some aspects of recording an acoustic wave in a liquid by a fiber-mounted piezoelectric transducer

Abstract

The main characteristics of a piezoelectric transducer mounted on an optical fiber and used to measure the acoustic signals induced by interaction between the radiation and the material are described. Results of an investigation of a laser-induced acoustic signal in a liquid are presented.
