Abstract
A way of simultaneously focusing a circular uniform beam of fine uncharged diamagnetic particles in the longitudinal and transverse directions is explored. Focusing is performed by a short magnetic lens and a diaphragm providing a time-dependent electric field. The size of the particles is within the range of 10−4–10−1 cm.
