Abstract
An injector for the formation of solid xenon pellets and their injection into the tokamak plasma is designed on the basis of a light-gas gun. Experimental results and calculations on production of xenon pellets with a diameter of 4 mm and a length of up to 25 mm directly inside of the barrel are presented.
