Abstract

A three-dimensional computer model, described by a system of Maxwell-Vlasov equations, for the interaction of a plasma with the electromagnetic field was used to calculate the excitation of a field by a relativistic electron beam with a virtual cathode oscillating in a resonance chamber. The characteristics of the generator radiation are investigated.
