Rayleigh decay of a highly charged bubble in a dielectric liquid

Abstract

Proceeding from the Onsager principle of minimum energy dissipation, we find the dimensions, charges, and total number of daughter bubbles emitted during an instability of a highly charged bubble in a dielectric liquid.
