Electrostatic problem for a thin, unclosed ellipsoidal shell and disk

Abstract

The axisymmetric electrostatic problem of a thin, unclosed ellipsoidal shell and disk is solved. The capacitance coefficients are calculated for a representative set of values of the geometrical parameters of the conductors.
