Abstract

The main physico-mechanical characteristics of resistive threads are investigated. The dependence of the complex dielectric constant of a resistive thread on the wavelength is measured over a wide sub-interval of the microwave range. The possibility is demonstrated of using such threads as the main element of wide-band radio-absorbing structures.
