Possible design for a cryogenic ferromagnetic gyroscope

Abstract

Three of the simplest schemes for the design of a new physical apparatus based on the Barnett effect are examined. It is shown that the most realistic is a design with a special type of electrically open-circuited, superconducting magnetic shield. The design of this device is described.
