Abstract

Conditions for focusing and slope angle of the line of foci have been calculated for a charged-particle beam with energy-angular correlations as it passes through a structure with transverse dispersion. Expressions are presented for the position of an image in the form of electrostatic and magnetic energy analyzers. The parameters for a cylindrical deflector are calculated in detail.
