Abstract
The temperature dependence of magnetostriction of textured polycrystalline Co0.72Zn1.28-W hexaferrite has been studied by means of x-ray dilatometry and strain gauges. It is shown that the magnetostriction constants exhibit an anomalous behavior in the region of spin-reorientational phase transitions and reach as high as 10−5–10−4.
