Calculation of the binding energy of electrons and positrons in a dielectric cluster

Abstract

An analysis is made of analytic expressions for the binding energy of electrons and positrons in dielectric clusters. Calculations are made of the sizes of critical argon and xenon clusters for which the binding energy is near-zero.
