Superconductivity of tin selenide at pressures up to 70 GPa

Abstract

We report the discovery of superconductivity in SnSe with T c around 4.5 K at pressures exceeding 58 GPa. It is conjectured that the high-pressure superconducting modification has the CsCl structure.
