Molecular Modeling of Photophysical Properties of Components of Förster Resonance Energy Transfer Pairs Containing Flavin-Based Fluorescent Proteins and Their Analogs

Using molecular modeling tools, the photophysical properties of fluorescent proteins are determined based on iLOV with absorption and fluorescence bands shifted to the longer wavelengths, which are required for the rational design of Förster resonance energy transfer pairs.
