Kicker Magnet of the Beam-Dumping System for the NICA Collider

Abstract

The design of the kicker magnet for the beam-dumping system of the NICA collider is proposed. The sizes and shape of electrodes in the magnet modules are optimized. The chosen design provides the required magnetic-field homogeneity and minimizes the energy consumption of the power-supply system.
