Synthesis of highly dispersed potassium hexacobaltinitrite in the ionic liquid medium

Abstract

A method for synthesizing highly dispersed potassium hexacobaltinitrite K3[Co(NO2)6] in an ionic liquid (IL) is discussed. The crystalline products are characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, IR and NMR spectroscopy, and laser diffraction.
