A new species of the genus Sardina (Pisces, Clupeidae) from the Middle Miocene of the Eastern Paratethys

Abstract

A new clupeid species of the genus Sardina (Clupeinae) from the Konkian-Sarmatian boundary beds of the Pshekha River Basin (western Ciscaucasia, Krasnodar Region) is described.
