The frequency and width of a surface plasmon in a small cluster

The dependence of the frequency and width of a surface plasmon ωs on the cluster size is analyzed. In the process of the investigation, a large numerical parameter appears that determines the shape of the potential of the electromagnetic field inside the cluster and leads to a wide plateau on the dependence of ωs on the cluster radius.
