C. R. McDonald is an assistant professor in the College of Architecture and Design at Kansas State University. He received a BSAE degree and a M. Arch degree from KSU. Prof. McDonald has taught in the departments of applied mechanics and construction science before assuming his current position In which he teaches courses in graphics, design and structures. He is a registered professional engineer in Illinois and Kansas.

S. E. Swartz is a professor of civil engineering at Kansas State University. He received a BSCE degree, and MS and PhD degrees from the illinois Institute of Technology. Or. Swartz’s expertise includes design of concrete structures, structural modeling and testing, mathemallcal modeling and computer programmmg. He presently serves as vice-president of SESA and chairman of the National Meetings Committee.
