Abstract
Seed dressings were tested at two field locations in 1986 for control of soilborne flag smut of wheat caused by Urocystis agropyri. Triazole fungicides effectively controlled soilborne flag smut at both locations. Carboxanilide fungicides were very effective at one location but less effective at the second location. No treatment significantly reduced emergence or grain yield.
