First record of Monilinia fructicola on strawberry fruit in Victoria, Australia

Abstract

Moniliniafructicola was identified as the cause of a strawberry fruit rot in a fungicide trial on strawberry at Wandin, near Melbourne, Victoria. Field evidence suggested that nearby mature fruiting cherry trees were the source of infection.
