Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how non-American embassy officials in Washington, D.C. perceive:

  • the objectives of MNCs.

  • the effects of the MNCs on income levels and income distribution, employment, technology transfer, capital markets, and competition.

  • the present degree of governmental control of the MNCs.

  • the degree of control that should be exercised over the MNCs.
