Abstract
Wendy Harcourt reviews some of the major concerns around reproductive rights and health from a wide range of cultural, social and economic settings based on a series of dialogues held by the Society for International Development in 2001–2. She shows how women are shaping and resisting globalization through innovative strategies as well as ways in which women are strengthening alliances for gender equality and reproductive health and rights.
