Abstract

Sally Theobold critically analyses literature and qualitative research findings about gender, electronic work and occupational health. She draws on workers' voices and perceptions about the prevalence and range of occupational health hazards occurring in the electronic industries of northern Thailand. Theobald explores whether the responses of civil society to these hazards are replicable.
