*Pat O'Grady entered the job market with an Honours Degree in Systems Analysis from the University of Aston in Birmingham, and began his career with a brief spell in the Civil Service, at the DoT and the DHSS. A lifetime interest in 'plane-spotting and things to do with aviation led him into the airport business, where he has spent the past 14 years in Operational Research, and where he is currently BAA's OR Manager.
