Abstract
Lynn Davies gives an overview of current understandings of the relationship between education and conflict examining how education can be a unifying force, or a cause of violent disagreement. She asks whether education can help to transform a situation or culture of conflict by looking at the diverse ways education is positioned in conflict, beginning with the bad news before moving on to better news.
