We would like to apologise that in Volume 49 Issue 3 the symposium section content was published in the incorrect order. The correct order for the symposium should have started with the article by Jan W. van Deth and then been followed by the reaction to it by Marc Hooghe and Bengü Hosch-Dayican and then finally by the rejoinder from Jan W. van Deth.
