Abstract

In this article, Anumita Raj explores how foresight as a tool is used by policymakers. The article seeks to examine how political realities can be used as a positive in the foresight process and how policymakers at the highest level can be integrated into foresight processes in order to make insights or recommendations that emerge from these exercises credible and actionable. Strategic Foresight Group’s work in the field of water security is used to illustrate this point.
