COX MULTIVARIATE MODEL

Statistical regression technique which takes into account the time interval to an outcome in relation to baseline characteristics (of a patient)

A 0 (fully active) to 5 (dead) scoring system to assess the wellbeing of cancer patients and their ability to perform ordinary tasks

Defined as the time from treatment initiation to the date of death or last follow-up

VASCULAR ENDOTHELIAL GROWTH FACTOR (VEGF)

A soluble factor that stimulates vascular permeability and blood vessel growth
