Brightness oscillations of daytime sky

Abstract

WE report here the discovery of sky brightness oscillations, observed during May 1976 and November 1977, which can be associated with atmospheric waves, perhaps on the aerosol boundary layer; this discovery also has a bearing on experiments now investigating solar diameter oscillations.
