Seasonal Variation in Twin Births

Abstract

THE seasonal patterns of single births are well established. Among the birth characteristics noted to be associated with significant changes in seasonal patterns are race, geographic differences1, and birth order2. Early studies on this general topic were reviewed by Huntington3, and other studies by Bailar and Gurian4.
