Abstract

THE presence of arylsulphatases in thrombocytes is still doubtful1. They are not thought to occur in human blood platelets2, although histochemical investigation of blood elements does not rule out their existence3. On the other hand, Mizuno et al. have proved, with an adapted histochemical method, the presence of the enzyme in calf thrombocyte concentrate4.
