Abstract
IN a previous communication1 I provided evidence for correlating at least part of the Otaian Stage rocks in New Zealand with the Globorotalia kugleri zone of Trinidad and concluded that Eames et al.2 had incorrectly correlated the Waitakian–Awamoan Stages with the Catapsydrax stainforthi zone of Trinidad.
