Abstract

THE cause of functional arrest of first set homotransplanted kidneys has recently been the subject of a series of biochemical investigations1–4. These investigations were begun to test the postulate that a primary biochemical lesion was responsible for the destruction of homo-transplanted kidneys5,6.
