Abstract
A PREVIOUS investigation has shown that phytohæmagglutinin can transform normal human lymphocytes into lymphoblastoid cells1. The normal lymphocyte is highly sensitive to nitrogen mustard (HN2) and to irradiation with small doses of X-rays2. We were, therefore, surprised to find in this work that the derived lymphoblastoid cells are resistant to these reagents.
