Abstract

SINCE the finding of cæsium-137 deposited in the human body in 1956, it has proved to be one of the most important radionuclides contributing to internal dose in the body. Since then, there has been much work on the measurement of cæsium-137 content by whole-body counting method. One of the most difficult problems for the measurement is that of calibration.
