Plankton from the East African Area of the Indian Ocean

Abstract

AN earlier communication1 has described how a series of plankton samples was taken from the coastal strips of Kenya and Tanganyika, extending outwards for some 50 miles. An analysis of some of the dry-weight data shows the following results.
