A New Green-Leaf Growth-stimulating Factor, Phyllococosine, from Coconut Milk

Abstract

KINETIN1,2 and gibberellin3 are known to accelerate the growth of green leaf disks floated on a medium containing one of these substances. A growth factor that stimulates leaf growth has now been discovered in coconut milk.
