Abstract
EXAMINATION of deformed metals using techniques of small-angle scattering of X-rays1, stimulated by the development of theories and experiments on defects in crystals, has been made. Some results obtained along these lines with natural graphite are reported in this communication. In order to obtain deformed graphite it was treated either mechanically or chemically as follows :
