Abstract

THE cultivation of Vibrio fœtus in quantity, for antigen production, is generally regarded as rather difficult and costly. Commonly employed culture media are semi-solid ‘Thiol’ (Difco) and Brucella broth (‘Albimi’), both containing 0.1 per cent agar.
