Effect of Storage of Methylcellulose on Blood Protein Formation in the Rat

Abstract

IN previous experiments a considerable storage of the methyl–ether of cellulose was observed in the reticulo-endothelial system1. As this system plays an important part in protein formation, it was assumed that a change in serum proteins takes place following its administration.
