Extraction of Thyrotrophic Hormone from Human Pituitaries

Abstract

SO far as we are aware, thyrotrophic hormone has not been extracted from human pituitaries although pituitary tissue has been assayed for thyrotrophic hormone activity1. The amount of adrenocorticotrophic hormone stored in human pituitaries has been reported previously2 and in this communication we present our findings with thyrotrophic hormone.
