Abstract

AMONG the numerous microscopic Crustacea brought back by the Lund University Expedition to Chile during 1948–49 was a new species of the sub-class Mystacocaridea, established by Pennak and Zinn1 and recently discovered also in Europe by Chappuis, Remane and Delamare Deboutteville2. The species was obtained in the Pacific near the Island of Guafo in lat. 43° 33′ S., long. 74° 49′ W. on coarse sand in a depth of 25 m.
